Evangelizing does not require you to be over the top with enthusiasm or on top of your soapbox. It just requires you to take that first humble step and genuinely reach out to someone. Let them know something about your faith that moves you and then encourage them to move in the direction of God. Try it today.

Realize that many things are completely beyond your understanding and control. This should not be a surprise because, as God said to Isaiah, "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways." When your world seems confusing and overwhelming, turn to the only One who knows the way to peace.

If you are honest with yourself, you quickly realize that all of your significant and successful accomplishments were achieved with help from others. If you don't believe that, you surely realize that you can achieve nothing without the help and blessings from God. Take a few minutes today to recognize some of the key people in your life that have helped to make you a better person. When you get the opportunity, thank them with a phone call or an email. They will truly appreciate hearing from you, and it will brighten your day by turning the spotlight in the other direction.
