THOUGHT:

Some decisions may take you out of God’s will, but never out of His reach.

Challenge

Is there something in your life that is probably not in God’s will for you? Lift this up to God in prayer at this moment and ask God for the strength to remove it from your life.

If we are unfaithful he remains faithful, for he cannot deny himself.

THOUGHT:

When we die, our lifespan is represented by a start date (birth) and an end date (death). The only thing representing everything in the middle is a simple 'dash'.

Challenge

In your mad 'dash' today, what will you be doing and what will that 'dash' represent for you? Review your priorities this morning and make sure you're dashing in the right direction.

Verse

Speak boastfully no longer, Do not let arrogance issue from your mouths. For an all-knowing God is the LORD, a God who weighs actions.

THOUGHT:

God doesn't call the qualified. He qualifies the called.

Challenge

When an opportunity to help God arises, don't think you can't help. Remember God won't put you where He doesn’t need you. Even little acts of kindness may seem uncomfortable, but you can succeed with God's help.

Verse

Then Jesus approached and said to them, “All power in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.”

THOUGHT:

What fuel is to a car, the Holy Spirit is to a believer.

Challenge

The Holy Spirit energizes us to stay the course, motivates us in spite of the obstacles and keeps us going when the road gets rough. If you attempt to operate without the Holy Spirit or use some substitute fuel, you are certain to grind to a halt.
