THOUGHT:

God won't ask about the clothes you had in your closet, He'll ask how many you helped to clothe.

Challenge

Springtime is a great time to go through your closets and determine what you need. Give the rest to those in need: Goodwill or another charity that helps to clothe the poor.

Jesus said to him, “If you wish to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to [the] poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”

Quit griping about your church. If it was perfect, you couldn't attend.

Challenge

For every minute you have spent complaining about something this week, spend two minutes volunteering. Your church won't be perfect, but you'll be making progress.

As mysterious as such incredible commitment seems to us, God’s constancy in our life is true. His commitment to us never changes. He never leaves us even when we fail Him. If you are feeling apart from God today, know that He is beside you and feel His comfort.

If you wish to be a leader you will be frustratred, for very few people wish to be led. If you aim to be a servant, you will never be frustrated.

God calls us to be servants to the world. Pick at least one service opportunity today, and get involved.

Those who bring sunshine to the lives of others cannot keep it from themselves.

Challenge

Look for an opportunity to help someone today. Without reason or question, give them a helping hand.

THOUGHT:

Whoever chooses to walk with God walks right into the battle.

Challenge

If you choose to walk by biblical standards, you are guaranteed to be tested and tried by the temptations of this world. The tests will come. But our Lord is the God of hope. . . His supply never runs short. When you are in the midst of a battle, ask Him for reinforcements.

I say to the LORD: You are my God; listen, LORD, to the words of my pleas.
