Challenge

Invite God to join you on your journey today. Why would you walk alone, when God is anxiously waiting for an invitation?

THOUGHT:

Conscience is God’s built-in warning system. Be very happy when it hurts you. Be very worried when it doesn’t.

Challenge

Let your conscience guide you in your decisions today and every day. When your conscience begins to bother you, adjust your actions.

If you can’t feed a hundred people then just feed one.

Challenge

A good deed is a good deed no matter how small. Don't concentrate on what you can't do. Determine what you can do - and do it today.

If you don’t stand for something, you will fall for anything.

Challenge

As a Christian, you should stand for the ideals that Jesus taught us through his ministry. When temptation arises today (and it will) stand firm to your Christian convictions. Do the right thing, instead of the easy thing.

Challenge

Complete your work today with the anticipation that God will be completing your performance review. God knows what your are capable of and so do you. Don't disappoint either one of you.

THOUGHT:

The world says,† If it feels good, do it‮ Faith says, “If it feels God, do it.”

Challenge

Today we are taught that it can’t be wrong if it feels so right. To have the discernment it takes to identify right from wrong, faith must overshadow feelings. When you come to a fork in the road, stop and let God guide you. You may need to put your feelings in the back seat.

There never was a person who did anything worth doing that he did not receive more than he gave.

Challenge

You can't outgive God. In His time and His way, you will always receive more in return. Try it and see for yourself.

God calls us to be a joyful giver. Do a good deed today because it feels good, and because God is a priority.

When praying, don't give God instructions - just report for duty.

Challenge

Stop for a minute and say your prayers, but today do something different. Don't ask for anything, except for God to guide your actions to serve His will.

We should always remember that the value of our good works is not based on their number and excellence, but on the love of God which prompts us to do these works.

Challenge

Doing good deeds is good, but only truly inspired if they come from the Lord's calling. When you see an opportunity to help, take full advantage of it; remember that you are helping spread the grace of God.

Maintain good conduct among the Gentiles, so that if they speak of you as evildoers, they may observe your good works and glorify God on the day of visitation. Christian Citizens.

You are you - the only you in the world. God created only one you with your specific set of gifts and He has led only one you through your completely unique set of experiences. He has specifically prepared you to serve Him in a unique way.

Spend some time in prayer discovering His unique way for you today.

 We don't change God's message -- His message changes us.

Challenge

For God's message to change us, we have to hear it. Go to church this weekend and focus on listening to His word. Follow-up by reading more of the passage later in the day.

If God had a refrigerator, your picture would be on it. If He had a wallet, your photo would be in it. He sends you flowers every spring. He sends you a sunrise every morning. Face it, friend - He is crazy about you!

Challenge

Stop for a second and thank God for the many things He gives you each and every day. Especially thank Him for his unconditional love. As you go through the day today, notice the many things God has provided for you.

Chapter 3 - See what love the Father has bestowed on us that we may be called the children of God. Yet so we are. The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

We are both small and large at the same time. We are a speck in the universe, but we are the world to God.

Challenge

God knew you and loved you from before you were born. Show Him the love is reciprocated by offering your actions to Him today. Throughout the day, remember His love and show it through your actions.

Anger is like a cancer inside of you. As long as you are angry with someone, you can never get past it.

Challenge

Pick someone who has upset you and forgive like Jesus would: forgive and FORGET. Pray for God's help.

Challenge

Pick one of the Psalms and read it today. Sit quietly after you have read it and reflect on any new understandings that God spoke to you.
