Forgiveness

Christians aren’t perfect, just forgiven.

Challenge

Chances are you were not the “perfect” Christian yesterday. Begin today by reflecting on those shortcomings, thanking God for forgiveness, and asking for His strength to overcome in your weakness today.

Courage

If you won’t climb the mountain, you can’t enjoy the view.

Challenge

God has not promised us an easy climb, but He offers us comfort and strength on the journey. Commit yourself today to continue the climb, and look forward to the view.

THOUGHT:

What we do today, right now, will have an accumulated effect on all our tomorrows.

Challenge

Ask God to help you realize that your every action shapes your character. More importantly, ask God to give you the will to keep making the right decisions so that your character will begin to mold itself over time in a way that more closely represents His love.

Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do so will be called least in the kingdom of heaven. But whoever obeys and teaches these commandments will be called greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

Christ made room for you in His kingdom. Have you made room for Him in yours?

Challenge

Our “kingdoms” tend to get cluttered with stuff that satisfies our earthly desires. Take inventory of your kingdom. Is there stuff you can clear out to make more room for Christ?

To hear God’s voice, turn down the world’s volume.

Challenge

Make a commitment today to ensure your time of prayer or Bible reading is done when you can turn off the noise of your daily life and devote your thoughts to God.

Peace is not the absence of conflict, but the ability to cope with it.

Challenge

When we are at peace with God, the conflicts of our life become manageable. If you are faced with a conflict at this time, stop and pray for the peace of the Holy Spirit to fill you. Go forward knowing you are protected and loved.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the holy Spirit.

THOUGHT:

Love is the greatest gift one person can give another.

Challenge

On this Valentines Day, make a conscious effort to show your love to someone special. Your love and kindness are more meaningful than a dozen roses or a box of chocolates.

THOUGHT:

My eyes drew back to the word Guidance. When I saw "G", I thought of God, followed by "u" and "i". "God, 'u' and 'i' dance." Guidance. God, you, and I dance. As I lowered my head, I became willing to trust that I would get guidance about my life. Once again, I became willing to let God lead.

Challenge

Think About God in everything you do today and let those thoughts guide you in the right direction.
