THOUGHT:

I would rather walk with God in the dark, than go alone in the light.

Challenge

When you encounter a “dark” moment today, remember that God is with you. Look to Him to guide you through that moment and bring you once again into the light.

God doesn’t love us less if we fail, and he doesn’t love us more if we succeed.

Challenge

Failure is inevitable. God does not remember it, and neither should you. Pray that any lingering pain that you feel from your failures will be removed.

Challenge

Problems are inevitable. Our responses to them are not. Ask God for the courage and wisdom to approach all your problems as opportunities, starting today.

True friendship is like sound health, the value of it is seldom known until it is lost.

Challenge

Friends are a gift from God. Don't take them for granted. Pick up the phone and call a friend that you haven't talked to in the last month. A good conversation can be healthy for both of you.

Life is like a schoolroom. Expect to encounter pop quizzes and periodic examinations.

Challenge

Our Christian maturity is measured by our ability to withstand tests. When you are tested today, do not get anxious. In God’s schoolroom, everyone is given the opportunity for a passing grade.

Blessed are the peacemakers. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Challenge

Jesus tells us that we need to go beyond just making peace with our enemies, but to truly love them. Think of someone you are at “war” with. Be a peacemaker. Don’t just settle your disagreement and walk away, but extend your Christian love by offering forgiveness and friendship.
