THOUGHT:

Just like a flame, love cannot exist in a vacuum. You have to share it or it will disappear.

Challenge

Make an opportunity to share your love with a fellow human today. Give freely of your time and talents for no other reason than because you can.

Two true magnitudes of every Christian: The shortness of time and the length of eternity.

Challenge

Every day try to be aware of your short time on earth. Focus more of your time living Christian values, thus preparing yourself for an eternity with Our Father.

God has made everything appropriate to its time, but has put the timeless into their hearts so they cannot find out, from beginning to end, the work which God has done.

THOUGHT:

Characteristics that we often associate with children are honesty, trust, dependence, joy, curiosity and thankfulness.

Challenge

Be a child of God: Be honest with God in prayer. Trust God to guide your decisions each day. Depend on God as your source of comfort when you are troubled. Be joyful that Christ has died for your sins. Be curious about your faith and increase your study of His Word. Be thankful everyday for the blessings you receive from your heavenly father.

Saying on Children and the Kingdom. People were bringing even infants to him that he might touch them, and when the disciples saw this, they rebuked them. Jesus, however, called the children to himself and said, “Let the children come to me and do not prevent them; for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Say the Lords Prayer and listen to what you're saying. Don't just say the Our Father from memory. Live every word of it.

Forgiveness

Remember the right. Forget the wrong.

Challenge

We are called by God to forgive AND forget. Think of someone that has done some wrong to you that you may have forgiven, bet yet you have not forgotten. Ask God to help you let go.

Challenge

If you're not happy with the amount of joy in your life, STOP right now and ask yourself why. Then ask yourself why you are not doing anything about it. Then do something about it!

Beginning today, treat everyone you meet as if they were going to die tonight. Extend to them all the care, kindness and understanding you can muster, and do so with no thought of any reward. Your life will never be the same again.

Challenge

Try this for one day and then reflect on how you feel. Commit to this for one week and then reflect on how it changed your outlook. Commit to it for one month and you will never look back to the way you are today.

Goals

A goal is nothing but a dream until you write it down and share it with someone.

Challenge

At this time of year, so many people (with good intentions) develop goals but fail to realize them due to a lack of commitment. Identify a goal to strengthen your faith this year. Write it down and share it with someone who is willing to participate with you.

Do you not know that the runners in the stadium all run in the race, but only one wins the prize? Run so as to win.
