Challenge

More people than you realize observe your words and actions every day. Understanding that responsibility, strive to live a Christian life, one that you would be proud for others to follow.

THOUGHT:

Faith will find windows where others find walls.

Challenge

As you pray today, ask God to strengthen your faith. Pay close attention as he opens windows of opportunity. The window that opens may not be the one you were expecting Him to open. Jump through anyway.

God’s infinite splendor would overwhelm us if He didn’t give us samples of it in small morsels.

Challenge

Pay special attention today to the small morsels of God’s splendor that you may not have noticed before. As you encounter these, pause and take time to thank Him for these gifts.

Challenge

Remember that your actions each day are just like web videos to Jesus. He sees and hears all we do and say. Make sure your actions show and say only things that will be pleasing to Him.

We are like icebergs: 1/10 is seen, 9/10 is not seen.

Challenge

Maybe unseen to the world, but God can see under the water. Make sure your actions today reflect your heart and soul, so that we look the same under the water as above it.

Leadership does not always wear the harness of compromise.

Challenge

God calls all of us to be leaders. In a positive spirit, don’t hesitate to standup for your faith and to remain true to your values. Following the path of least resistance is usually the easiest choice, but not always the right choice.

Goals are the fuel in the furnace of achievement.

Challenge

In absence of clearly defined goals, we become strangely loyal to performing daily acts of trivia. Ask God today to help you to stop just going through the motions in your life. Don’t underestimate the impact of having goals…It is the first step toward achieving something meaningful and pleasing to God.

Sometimes the people you expect to kick you when you're down, will be the ones to help you get back up.

Challenge

Surprise someone you may not get along with by showing kindness and lending them a helping hand. Most of us don’t like surprises but this one will be unlike most and seen as an act of God [which it will be].

The secret of happiness is not always in doing what one likes to do,  but in liking what one has to do.

Ask God to provide you with the right attitude today in order that you can begin to develop a habit of seeing more of the positive elements of your daily tasks. The positive spirit that you begin to nurture and develop each day will transform you into a happier version of yourself and a better model of God's love to others.

The unity you have within your church may be the most powerful sermon those outside your church will ever hear.

Challenge

Take a minute and reflect on the image you portray when they see you. Do people hear you complaining about the issues or praising the opportunities? Think before you speak. Voice your concerns with your church staff in private, and always praise the positives in public.

Does a goal of eternal happiness seem too lofty for you? This is God’s promise to ALL those who believe in Him and follow His word. Spend more time today allowing your actions to reflect your desire to realize God’s ultimate reward for you.
