Learn to listen to God, especially when you are listening to someone else.

Challenge

As others open their souls to you, you should rely on the Holy Spirit so you can respond appropriately. Ask Him to think through you, live through you, and to love through you. When the Spirit empowers your listening and thinking, God flows through you to other people.

A hug is a great gift – one size fits all. It can be given for any occasion and it is easy to exchange.

Challenge

In this Christmas Season, take a stand in the right direction by handing out hugs. Make it a habit with your family and friends. Also, make sure your church service greetings begin and end with a hug as a sign of Christ’s love.

Given God's promise of eternal salvation, it is difficult to understand why not all Christians have fully received their King into their hearts and daily life. Pray for them and for yourself to recognize the gift of His presence during this season and throughout the year.

We all are guilty of falling into patterns and routines in our life; however, it is important we do not allow our routines to run so deep that they dull our desire to enjoy the many spices of life.
