Integrity – Daily TAGline

Thought:

No cost is too heavy for the preservation of one’s honor.

Challenge:

Don’t allow your daily temptations to compromise your honor and integrity. They are very difficult to get back if you slip up. Always use God as your guide and your honor will be in good hands.

Reference:

My salvation and my honor depend on God ; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. Psalm 62:7 (NABRE)

Compassion – Daily TAGline

Thought:

Let my heart be broken by the things that break the heart of God.

Challenge:

Jesus showed compassion to many, but certainly had a heart for the underprivileged. Find a place in your heart to serve the poor in your community and let your heart be like His.

Reference:

The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor. Matthew 11:15 (NABRE)

Wisdom – Daily TAGline

Thought:

Honest and courageous people have very little to say about either their courage or their honesty.

Challenge:

If Christians are honest with themselves, they can’t help but be humble and give credit to God for their strength of character. Humble yourself today by giving credit where credit is due.

Reference:

For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted. Matthew 23:12 (NABRE)

Guidance – Daily TAGline

Thought:

Beginning your day alone with God is essential preparation for success.

Challenge:

Reign in your impulse to plunge into the day’s activities. Just as a great athlete takes time to prepare himself mentally for the feat ahead of him before he moves a muscle, you should be still in God’s presence and allow Him to equip you for the day ahead. Only He knows what is in store for you today.

Reference:

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10 (NABRE)

Comfort – Daily TAGline

Thought:

Everything can change in the blink of an eye – but don’t worry, God never blinks.

Challenge:

Life can change in an instant. We may not understand why things happen, but with God as our focal point we can rest assured that He isn’t going to miss anything. Trust God today with all the things that come your way.

Reference:

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13 (NABRE)

Security – Daily TAGline

Thought:

The degree to which God strengthens you is based on two variables: the difficulty of your circumstances and your willingness to depend on Him for help.

Challenge:

Do not let any set of circumstances intimidate you. The more difficult your day, the more God will put His power at your disposal. Assess the difficulties ahead of you today, and then ask God for the strength needed to meet your challenges.

Reference:

I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength. Eph 1:18-20 (NABRE)

Peace – Daily TAGline

Thought:

Quietness is the classroom where you begin to hear God’s voice.

Challenge:

Today and every day, seek a quiet place to be still, clear your mind and listen for God’s voice. As you do this more often, you will learn to carry this stillness wherever you go so that you will hear God’s voice above the noise.

Reference:

He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, He restores my soul. Psalm 23 2-3 (NABRE)

Courage – Daily TAGline

Thought:

Real courage isn’t limited to the battlefield. It can be as simple as remaining faithful when nobody’s looking.

Challenge:

We’ve all done the wrong thing because no one is there to notice – well, God does. Act as if God were on your shoulder with you for every decision. Rely on yourself (and count on God) to have the courage to always do the right thing!

Reference:

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 (NABRE)

Attitude – Daily TAGline

Thought:

Happiness depends more on the inward disposition of mind than on outward circumstances.

Challenge:

Regardless of the forecast, approach today with a positive attitude, knowing God has blessed you with another opportunity to participate in the joy of His kingdom. Take control of your happiness today!

Reference:

Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because he who has suffered in his body is done with sin. 1 Peter 4:1 (NABRE)

Love – Daily TAGline

Thought:

I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear. – Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Challenge:

Make a concentrated effort today to cast off all your burdens of hate. Put love, empathy and forgiveness in its place instead. Enjoy this place – It is a God given blessing.

Reference:

Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from the heart. 1 Peter 1:22 (NABRE)
