Faith – Daily TAGline

Thought:

True faith is not simply going to God and asking Him to bless what YOU have decided to do, but coming to God and inviting Him to plant His designs within you.

Challenge:

Look for God to infuse you with a dream that seems beyond your reach. When this journey gets tough, rely on God’s wisdom and strength to take you one step at a time towards realizing HIS dream for you.

Reference:

Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done. Matthew 21:21 (NABRE)

Discipleship – Daily TAGline

Thought:

It is right to do good for your fellow man while waiting to begin your future in heaven. The future depends on what we do in the present.

Challenge:

Make sure you show kindness, compassion, empathy and love to your fellow man today. Your earthly future will be brighter as you have shown others the Christ within you AND your example becomes an inspiration for them.

Reference:

“Yes, it is as you say,” Jesus replied. “But I say to all of you: In the future you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.” Matthew 26:64 (NABRE)

Praise – Daily TAGline

Thought:

Thank God continuously for His blessings. It’s like priming the pump of a well.

Challenge:

Continue to bring sacrifice and thanksgiving to our Lord until you are overflowing with gratitude. This will enable God’s work to flow more freely through you, producing more thankfulness and more freedom and more blessings until your cup overflows.

Reference:

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Psalm 23:5 (NABRE)

Character – Daily TAGline

Thought:

When you realize you’ve made a mistake, take immediate steps to correct it.

Challenge:

Own up to ALL of your mistakes. Be honest with yourself and with others. Then show them your sincerity by making right by the error of your ways.

Reference:

If anyone eats a sacred offering by mistake, he must make restitution to the priest for the offering and add a fifth of the value to it. Leviticus 22:14 (NABRE)

Wisdom – Daily TAGline

Thought:

If we do not plant knowledge when young, it will give us no shade when we are old.

Challenge:

Don’t gloss over life. You’re never too young or too old to truly understand and internalize what things in life really mean. With this learning, your roots will grow deep with knowledge and the fruits of your good deeds will hang low for those around you.

Reference:

Teach me good discernment and knowledge, For I believe in Your commandments. Psalm 119:66 (NABRE)

Wisdom – Daily TAGline

Thought:

By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest.

Challenge:

Make it your goal to always take the time for reflection and analysis before you act. Reflection allows you the perspective to imitate the right things and to avoid experiences that may lead you away from His plan for you.

Reference:

Blessed is the man who finds wisdom, the man who gains understanding, Proverbs 3:13 (NABRE)

Joy – Daily TAGline

Thought:

Everytime you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing.

Challenge:

Share your smile more often during the day. Set a goal to greet at least ___(fill in the blank) people today with a smile. Tomorrow set your goal higher.

Reference:

When I smiled at them, they scarcely believed it; the light of my face was precious to them. Job 29:24 (NABRE)

Kindness – Daily TAGline

Thought:

Forget injuries, never forget kindnesses.

Challenge:

We often talk of forgiving and forgetting, but equally important is thanking and emulating kindness. Go out of your way today to thank someone who has been kind to you, and the next time you have the chance, emulate their kindness toward others.

Reference:

They will celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your righteousness. Psalm 145:7 (NABRE)

Attitude – Daily TAGline

Thought:

He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose.

Challenge:

In a world possessed with possessions, dare to be different. Make the decision to do without things that have little value beyond today so that you can afford to support those who are in need.

Reference:

What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ. Philippians 3:8 (NABRE)

Service – Daily TAGline

Thought:

When you leave your church service on Sunday, be sure to continue in His service.

Challenge:

Continue your worship throughout the week. Worship the Lord by finding ways to help one of God’s children outside of your church, and then give thanks for the opportunity to serve.

Reference:

This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. 2 Corinthians 9:12 (NABRE)
