THOUGHT:

Don’t just go to church. Get out and BE the church to other people.

Challenge

Consider how you are spending your time this week. Are you spending more time worshipping in the church than you are serving others outside it? Make an effort this week to spend more time with those who are lost and need to see God through you.

Verse

Now you are Christ’s body, and individually parts of it.

THOUGHT:

It is not length of life, but depth of life.

Challenge

Remember that the depth of your life is defined by what you do each day. God gave you abilities and blessings, do with them as Jesus taught. Add meaning to your life and deepen your faith by being an example of God's love today.

Verse

May the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep by the blood of the eternal covenant, Jesus our Lord, furnish you with all that is good, that you may do his will. May he carry out in you what is pleasing to him through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever [and ever]. Amen.

Verse

You are my friends if you do what I command you. I no longer call you slaves, because a slave does not know what his master is doing. I have called you friends, because I have told you everything I have heard from my Father.

THOUGHT:

Faith will not lead us to a place where God has not already been.
