Compassion

THOUGHT:

When you say a situation or a person is hopeless, you're slamming the door in the face of God.

Challenge

Remember that all situations and persons were created by God. In some way, maybe only known to Him, they are good. Make sure you give your best effort to finding that goodness.

Priorities

THOUGHT:

One of the greatest dangers in life is permitting the urgent things to crowd out the important.

Challenge

Don't let the "urgent" things crowd out the "important" things today. Make time for your faith and your family today and every day.

You are not too bad to come in. You are not too good to stay out.

Challenge

In God's eyes you are “just right” to come in. Knock on Christ’s door often and go in with prayers of heartfelt thanks for all His blessings. Ask for the strength to become a better Christian.

Attitude

THOUGHT:

You cannot always control what goes on outside, but you can always control what goes on inside.

Challenge

Focus on what you can control today - your attitude. Stay positive, confident God will provide what you need to deal with things outside of your control.

That you should put away the old self of your former way of life, corrupted through deceitful desires, and be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and put on the new self, created in God’s way in righteousness and holiness of truth.

Love

Love is stronger than death.

Challenge

Jesus proved His love for us by dying on the cross to save us from our sins. Always show Him your gratitude by modeling His love, compassion, and encouragement to others.

Take a deep breath – it calms the mind.

Challenge

Close your eyes, take a deep cleansing breath and have comfort in knowing that God truly has a plan for you. Take another. Now, start your day believing you have His love and His support ALWAYS.

I have found that among its other benefits, giving liberates the soul of the giver.

Challenge

Be a cheerful giver. Do so with the sincere intent of helping others. The satisfaction you receive for doing so is just icing on the cake.

Ann Landers may not have been thinking about eternal life with Christ here but the TAGteam sure is. Think About God more often everyday to keep looking ahead toward a future with Christ and you’ll never look back.

Challenge

Make sure you stick your neck out for your faith whenever you have the opportunity. God expects us all to be disciples, so ask Him in prayer to give you the courage to stick your neck out for Him.

Make sure you don’t react out of anger or hurt another, these burnt bridges will fall on you too. Instead, work to tunnel a compromise through understanding, empathy and patience.

Friends are like balloons; sometimes we get so busy with our own lives and  problems that we may not even notice that we've let them fly  away.

Challenge

Friends are a blessing from God. Pick up the phone and call an old friend that you haven't talked to recently. Make sure the Lord is with you in your conversations to increase those blessings.

Breathe a prayer of thanks for the breath of life.

Challenge

No matter what your situation, you always have one thing for which to be thankful. It just happened to you. It just happened again, and again. Thank God you have the breath of life and are alive to praise Him.

Challenge

God knows what is in your heart and on your mind. As you pray today, ask only that He speak to you. Remain silent and listen for His voice.
