Think about how much you know about God. What would God do with your gifts, skills, talents and abilities?  Make a conscious choice today to do something that God would want from you.

Blame yourself if you have no branches of leaves; don’t accuse the sun of partiality.

Challenge

Try not to look at other’s lives and question why they seem to be richer and bear more fruit than your own.  Let the sun (Son) remind you of the warmth and energy that God has provided within you.  Find a way for it to inspire your growth today.

People who matter are most aware that everyone else does, too.

Challenge

As you go through your day today, be conscious of the fact that we were all made in the likeness of God and that we all matter. With that heightened awareness, treat everyone you encounter with the dignity and respect they deserve.

History has demonstrated that the most notable winners usually encountered heartbreaking obstacles before they triumphed. They won because they refused to become discouraged by their defeats.

Challenge

The trials and tribulations leading up to Jesus' death and resurrection are perfect examples of encountering and overcoming obstacles. Let His example give you the courage and strength to overcome the obstacles in your life. If you need help, God is just a prayer away.
