Over prepare, then go with the flow.

Compassion – Daily TAGline

Attitude – Daily TAGline

Thought:

The real act of discovery is not in finding new lands, but in seeing with new eyes.

May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, Romans 15:5 (NABRE)

Wisdom – Daily TAGline

Thought:

Living well and beautifully and justly is all one thing. – Socrates

Challenge:

We tend to compartmentalize our lives: work, personal, friends, spiritual, financial, health and recreation. Some days, it may seem that they all compete with each other and may even compromise your identity. Ask God for the strength and integrity to let all facets of your life radiate from one core set of values.

Reference:

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 (NABRE)

Faith – Daily TAGline

Thought:

One of the greatest mistakes you can make in life is to be continually fearing you will make one.

Challenge:

Fear not! Have faith! Live life and learn from it because the only thing you truly have to fear is temptation. Overcome that fear with the knowledge that the Holy Spirit is always at your side.

Reference:

“Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.” Matthew 26:41 (NABRE)

Encouragement – Daily TAGline

Thought:

We can never know the depths of God’s power unless we attempt the impossible.

Challenge:

Is there something in your life that you have a desire to do, but have been afraid to take the first step? Pray for the courage to move forward. If it is meant to be, God’s power will be the catalyst necessary to bring you success.

Discipleship – Daily TAGline

Thought:

A musician must make music, an artist must paint, a poet must write, if he is to be ultimately at peace with himself. What a man can be he must be.

As a Christian you must share your faith, love your fellow man, and follow the teachings of Christ to be at peace. Take an inventory today to make sure you are being all you can be as a Christian.

Peace – Daily TAGline

Thought:

Hanging onto a grudge is letting someone you resent live rent-free in your head.

Challenge:

Let go of any anger you have towards someone who has hurt you. These negative emotions serve no purpose – evict them and enjoy piece of mind.

And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. 2 Timothy 2:24 (NABRE)

Attitude – Daily TAGline

Thought:

I arise in the morning torn between a desire to improve the world and a desire to enjoy the world. This makes it hard to plan the day.

Challenge:

Do both. Follow your heart and you will find that improving the world also brings satisfaction, accomplishment, and joy. Do both. Enjoy.

Tell the righteous it will be well with them, for they will enjoy the fruit of their deeds. Isaiah 3:10 (NABRE)

Faith – Daily TAGline

Thought:

Everything can change in the blink of an eye. But don’t worry; God never blinks.
