Faith – Daily TAGline

Thought:

Faith is believing in advance what will only make sense in reverse.

Challenge:

True faith is relaxing in the present, confident that God is in control of the future. Look back and see that God’s plan played out to your benefit even though you may not have understood at the time. Can you rest in confidence today that God is in control?

Reference:

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1 (NABRE)

Faith – Daily TAGline

Thought:

Faith is a knowledge within the heart, beyond the reach of proof.

Challenge:

Feel the faith in your heart by listening to the Holy Spirit throughout your day. Open the door of your faith to the Holy Spirit and let it show you the righteous path. You’ll feel and know it is the right path; you won’t require proof.

Reference:

I baptize you with water, but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.” Mark 1:8 (NABRE)

Faith – Daily TAGline

Thought:

Whether you see it, feel it, or know it, right now you’re being provided for. And you always will be.

Challenge:

God knows each and every one of our needs. We may have wants, but keeping our focus on God first, we will always have our needs met. Have comfort knowing Him first and foremost and you will see the difference between wants and needs.

Reference:

And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 (NABRE)

Habits – Daily TAGline

Thought:

A person places themselves on a level with the ones they praise.

Challenge:

Challenge yourself on who you praise. Do they represent good moral and Christian values? Are you praising and supporting with your leisure dollars musicians whose lyrics are hateful or antiChrist, or sports figures who live immoral lifestyles?. Rethink and redistribute your praise and your dollars.

You shall have no other gods before me. Exodus 20:3 (NABRE)

Discipleship – Daily TAGline

Thought:

Every time you do a good deed, you shine the light a little farther back into the dark. And the beautiful thing is, when you’re gone, that light is going to keep shining on…

Challenge:

Shine the goodness of God’s light in everything you do. Be kind, loving and generous to all those you encounter. Leave His lasting light with those you touch today.

Reference:

In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:16 (NABRE)

Habits – Daily TAGline

Thought:

When you wallow with pigs, expect to get dirty.

Challenge:

Not just on the outside: your mind and mouth will follow your body. Reflect on the situations that bring out the dirt in you, and look for spiritual cleansing by spending time with the people who bring out your cleaner side.

Reference:

Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear. Ephesians 4:29 (NABRE)

Service – Daily TAGline

Thought:

Everybody can be great…Because everybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace and a soul generated by love.

Challenge:

Don’t make excuses why you cannot be great…Serve someone, somehow, somewhere, today. It doesn’t matter who, how, or where. Keep doing it – You will feel GREAT!

Reference:

As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace. 1 Peter 4:10 (NABRE)

Habits – Daily TAGline

Thought:

God wants “Soul custody” not just weekend visitations.

Challenge:

God sacrificed His own Son to redeem our sins. Allow the resurrection of Jesus to revitalize your personal commitment to include God in a more meaningful fashion each day on your journey to eternal life.

Reference:

For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life. John 3:16 (NABRE)

Discipleship – Daily TAGline

Thought:

I pray because I can’t help myself. I pray because I’m helpless. I pray because the need flows out of me all the time- waking and sleeping. It doesn’t change God- it changes me.

Challenge:

Make a commitment to find a way to include God more often in the decisions throughout your day.

Reference:

Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. Luke 18:1 (NABRE)

Discipleship – Daily TAGline

Thought:

For the church to grow, found people must find people.

Challenge:

It has been said the spiritual curiousity is heightened around Easter. Invite someone you know to attend church with you this Easter. Allow His Spirit to move in them because of your simple gesture.

Reference:

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. Romans 1:16 (NABRE)
