Anger – Daily TAGline

Thought:

Temper is a weapon that we hold by the blade.

Challenge:

Ask God to bless you with the strength to keep your temper in check. Silently count to 10 or find a way to temper your reaction in order to avoid the hurt you may render to others (and yourself) with the anger of a double-edged sword.

Thought:

To walk with God, we must first make it a practice to talk with God.

Challenge:

Most of us make it a practice to talk with God at least once during our day. If this is the case with you, consider adding another regular conversation with God at some other time during your day so you can walk a little closer to Him.

Thought:

You can clutch the past so tightly to your chest that it leaves your arms too full to embrace the present.

Challenge:

Ask God for the courage to focus less on “the way things used to be”, and to find ways to live more fully today and to look forward to tomorrow.

Thought:

The voyage of discovery is not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes.

Challenge:

We do not always have the ability to easily change the landscape of our everyday lives, but we do have the ability to change our attitude. Ask God to open your mind in order that your eyes will see things from a new perspective and allow you to approach

Thought:

Nobody can make you feel inferior without your consent.

Challenge:

You are a gift from God. Act like it. Spend the entire day with your head up, and walk confidently knowing you are made in God’s image.

Thought:

The simplist and most difficult definition of a Christian: to be Christ-like.

Challenge:

The idea is simple, but not easy. Do this for just one day. With every significant action you take, Think About God.

Thought:

Life is not about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.

Challenge:

Take control of your destiny. Spend more time thinking about the person you want to be, and then ask God for the will to do the things necessary to become the very best version of yourself. What are you waiting for?

Hope and Spring are both so full of life. In your prayers today review and renew your faith, see the hope that it brings to your life and the Spring it puts in your step.

It is never too late to be what you might have been.

Challenge:

Stop for a moment and ask yourself, “Are you on the right path to be who you want to be?” Ask God for the courage and the persistence to stay the course. Don’t ever give up on your dreams.

Challenge:

Eternal Salvation is the ultimate long-term fulfillment. Avoid Satans daily temptations. The long-term reward will be worth it.
