Anxiety

Posted on November 30, 2015

THOUGHT:

Don't watch the clock; do what it does. Keep going.

Challenge

Don't waste your precious personal energy worrying about time and how you wish you could slow it down or relive it. Pour yourself completely into the present and focus on what your hands can accomplish with God's hand - not the hands of time.

Verse

Can any of you by worrying add a single moment to your life-span?

Attitude

Posted on November 27, 2015

THOUGHT:

Your living is determined not so much by what life brings to you as by the attitude you bring to life; not so much by what happens to you as by the way your mind looks at what happens.

Challenge

Look at everything in life with a positive attitude and a determination to see something good even when good does not seem to be present. If God put it there, it has a purpose. Look harder for the lesson - you'll be better for it.

Verse

That you should put away the old self of your former way of life, corrupted through deceitful desires, and be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and put on the new self, created in God’s way in righteousness and holiness of truth.

The components of anxiety, stress, fear, and anger do not exist independently of you in the world. They simply do not exist in the physical world, even though we talk about them as if they do.

Challenge

There is no anxiety in your home, at your job, or around your neighborhood; it's all in your head. With God's help cleanse your mind of negative; of anxiety. Open it up to God and feel the peace of His love today.
