Challenge:

Keep looking forward while learning the lessons from the past. Make a mental note of how you could do better the next time. Ask for God’s guidance here on earth while looking forward to your ultimate future with Him.

Thought:

If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain and bitter; for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.

Challenge:

In the words of Theodore Roosevelt, “Comparison is the thief of joy.” There is absolutely nothing wrong with having a strong desire to improve yourself. However, in all phases of your life, do not allow yourself to grow arrogant or envious with superficial comparisons to those around you. Focus on what really matters and you will find joy.

Challenge:

Don’t let worry steal your happiness today. Give your worries up to God in prayer and enjoy the day!

God expects much of each one of us. What can you do for Him today? Think of at least one thing God might expect of you and carry it out today. It doesn’t have to be large, just accomplish it for Him.

Thought:

Children soon forget their presents, but not your presence.

Challenge:

Reflect over the past few weeks. How much time have you made for children in your life? Make a concerted effort to prioritize your life this week giving more time to the children you can influence.
