THOUGHT:

Remember that happiness is a way of travel, not a destination.

Challenge

Are you happy with where you are going today and what you are doing? If not, why are you doing it? What can YOU change that would make you happy? Maybe your attitude? Ask God for the courage and the will to change in a way that will make your destination today a little happier.

Verse

But seek first the kingdom [of God] and his righteousness, and all these things will be given you besides.

THOUGHT:

We cannot put off living until we are ready. The most salient characteristic of life is its urgency, ‘here and now' without any possible postponement. Life is fired at us point-blank.

Challenge

If you really stop to think about it, we really don't have any other option but to "LIVE IN THE MOMENT". How you choose to live in the moment makes all the difference. Ask God for the strength and the wisdom to not allow yourself to be so preoccupied with the past and the future that you miss opportunities to be your best self in this very moment.

Verse

Can any of you by worrying add a single moment to your life-span?

THOUGHT:

The highest reward for a person's toil is not what they get for it, but what they become by it.

Challenge

Who you are today and what you represent is the accumulation of all your life's thoughts, decisions and actions. No matter where you are in your life's journey, start today to make it better by surrounding yourself with positive thoughts and positive people. Think About God more often and allow Him to become a meaningful part of each day.

Kindness

Posted on June 27, 2016

THOUGHT:

Among the things you can give and still keep are your word, a smile, and a grateful heart.

Challenge

Life is abundant. The more you give, the more you get. Give of yourself today - a smile, a kind word, a genuine compliment. The more you give, the more you get.

Verse

Give and gifts will be given to you; a good measure, packed together, shaken down, and overflowing, will be poured into your lap. For the measure with which you measure will in return be measured out to you.”

Stewardship

Posted on June 24, 2016

THOUGHT:

If all you can do is crawl, start crawling.

Challenge

God has blessed each of us with a unique blend of talents and a capacity to love. The amount and level of your abilities is worth little in comparison to your will to develop it and share it with others. Theodore Roosevelt once said "Do the best you can, with what you have where you are." That is God's expectation of you.

Verse

Whatever you do, do from the heart, as for the Lord and not for others, knowing that you will receive from the Lord the due payment of the inheritance; be slaves of the Lord Christ.

THOUGHT:

You see people on the street this morning. They are rushing to work and not paying attention to anything. Sometimes we get so caught up in our daily lives that we forget to take the time out - Keanu Reeves.

Challenge

Say Hi to someone you see and maybe give a hug to someone who looks like they're hurting. Help out someone. You have to live every day like it's your last. The person who was holding you back from your happiness is you. Every day is precious so let's treat it like that. Tomorrow isn't guaranteed, so live today! - Keanu Reeves

A mediocre person tells. A good person explains. A superior person demonstrates. A great person inspires others to see for themselves.

What we have done for ourselves alone dies with us; what we have done for others and the world remains and is immortal.

This is truly why giving of yourself is so powerful. Your energy and your efforts put to use in helping others positively affects both you and them. Often times those good deeds are seen by others prompting them to do the same. Use this simple process to ‘pay it forward' to positively change God's world.
