Empathy – Daily TAGline

Thought:

I think we all have empathy. We may not have enough courage to display it.

Challenge:

Pray for the courage to show others you understand their plight and their needs. Then show them you understand, that you care, and that you are willing to help in whatever way God’s gifts have blessed you. Share your blessings to bring to action your empathy.

Attitude – Daily TAGline

Thought:

Everyone has inside them a piece of good news. The good news is you don’t know how great you can be! How much you can love! What you can accomplish! And what your potential is.

Challenge:

The good news is also that God does know what your full potential is. He knows you better than you do. Follow His lead, quietly meditate with Him to help discover what that plan is. Pray for the strength and perseverance to find His path and follow it daily.

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,  and before you were born I consecrated you;  I appointed you a prophet to the nations. Jeremiah 1:5 (NABRE)

Discipleship – Daily TAGline

Thought:

Big jobs usually go to those who prove their ability to outgrow small ones.

Challenge:

Discipleship is a place where this is especially true. Jesus makes it clear that when it comes to personal discipleship, He is more interested in quality than quantity. Strengthen your commitment to loving, serving, and sharing God in everything you do. Grow in Jesus.

And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.” Mark 16:15 (NABRE)

Attitude – Daily TAGline

Thought:

Your life is either a celebration or a chore…The choice is yours.

Challenge:

It is easy to complain and grow weary of life’s challenges. It is just as easy to look around and see all good fortune in your life. Find a way today to reflect on the things you are thankful for in your life. Now take a moment and think if you are spending enough of your time each day nourishing what really matters and makes you happy. The bad news is you’re probably not; the good news is that there is still time to start.

A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. Proverbs 17:22 (NABRE)

Hope – Daily TAGline

Thought:

Hope is necessary in every situation.

Challenge:

True hope represents genuine evidence of your faith. No matter where you are in your life right now, good times or bad times, allow your actions to reflect your hopeful and optimistic attitude about tomorrow and the days to follow. These thoughts, combined with your prayers, will fuel your spirit and guide your actions to move closer to God’s plan for you. Never lose hope!

Encouragement – Daily TAGline

Thought:

Too often what we read and profess become part of our libraries and vocabularies instead of part of our lives.

Challenge:

It is truly beneficial to pursue inspiration from books, podcasts, movies, music and even from today’s TAGline. However, if you don’t internalize it and allow it to influence your actions and your life, it is of little value. Make more of an effort today to allow the things that inspire you to be more than just a superficial mask. Digest it and let it inspire your actions in order that you may positively influence those around you.

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and do good works… Hebrews 10:24 (NABRE)

Encouragement – Daily TAGline

Thought:

A word of encouragement during a failure is worth more than an hour of praise after success.

Challenge:

While it is easy to praise success, encouragement during or after failure is so much more powerful and meaningful. It’s not easy finding the right words, but they will mean more than you know to the recipient. Your encouraging words WILL change their lives. How powerful is that?

May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus…. Romans 15:5 (NABRE)
