Faith – Daily TAGline

Thought:

The most direct route between point A and point B on your life-journey is the path of unwavering trust in God.

Challenge:

In our hurry-up world, we try so hard to find the fastest way to love, success, happiness and self-fulfillment. As Christians, the answer has been in front of us the whole time: Trust in God.

Reference:

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 (NABRE)

Priorities – Daily TAGline

Thought:

God is far more interested in a relationship with you than what you are or are not doing.

Challenge:

Today, worry less about what you are (or are not) doing for God, and spend time seeking a closer relationship with Him. When you are walking close to Him, He will guide your way. Then, and only then, will you know exactly what to do.

Reference:

He has raised up for his people a horn, the praise of all his saints, of Israel, the people close to his heart. Praise the LORD. Psalm 148:14 (NABRE)

Attitude – Daily TAGline

Thought:

We all have the potential to brighten a room or darken it.

Challenge:

Focus on brightening all rooms you enter today by encouraging others, congratulating others, and refusing to speak poorly of others. Your actions will be contagious and will help light the way for others.

Reference:

If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. Philippians 2:1-2 (NABRE)

Wisdom – Daily TAGline

Thought:

The greatest communication skill you can master has nothing to do with talking. The greatest communication skill you can master is to listen.

Challenge:

Learn to be a committed listener and you can develop deeper and more meaningful relationships. This applies to your relationship with God as well. Spend quiet time in prayer today, and listen for what God is saying to you.

Reference:

So Herodias nursed a grudge against John and wanted to kill him. But she was not able to, because Herod feared John and protected him, knowing him to be a righteous and holy man. When Herod heard John, he was greatly puzzled; yet he liked to listen to him. Mark 6:19-20 (NABRE)

Faith – Daily TAGline

Thought:

If you think you can or think you can’t, you’re right.† Henry Ford

Challenge:

Belief gives us the confidence we need to persist in the face of adversity. Believe in yourself and trust in God and you can conquer today’s challenges, large or small.

Reference:

‘If you can’? said Jesus. Everything is possible for him who believes. Mark 9:23 (NABRE)

Evangelism – Daily TAGline

Thought:

We will have to repent in this generation not merely for the vitriolic words and actions of the bad people, but for the appalling silence of the good people. – Martin Luther King, Jr.

Challenge:

God does not simply want us to be “good” by virtue of not doing anything “bad”, but rather he calls us to make a difference for HIM in this world. Ask for God’s forgiveness for the times you have been silent, and start making some noise – reach out to someone in need, invite someone to church this weekend, stand up for someone who is being persecuted – the opportunities are endless.

Reference:

Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest, and repent. Revelation 3:19 (NABRE)

Thought:

Look at life through the windshield, not the rear-view mirror.

Challenge:

Don’t dwell on the past, only use it to improve your future and those around you by repeating the good, avoiding the bad and sharing your blessings.

Reference:

Your beginnings will seem humble, so prosperous will your future be. Job 8:7 (NABRE)

Courage – Daily TAGline

Thought:

There are no limits on what you can achieve with your life, except the limits you accept in your own mind.

Challenge:

God places no limits on what you can achieve – why do you? Think big, dream big and achieve big! With God all things are possible.

Reference:

Jesus looked at them and said, “”With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible. Matthew 19:26 (NABRE)

Discipleship – Daily TAGline

Thought:

Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so, little ones to him belong, they are weak but He is strong.

Challenge:

Little or big, weak or strong, we all need the love of Christ in our lives. To find His love, we simply need to look to the Bible. Pick yours up today and read one of the many passages that express to us Christ’s love.

Reference:

Neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:39 (NABRE)

Service – Daily TAGline

Thought:

“Amazing grace! How sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me! I once was lost, but now am found was blind, but now I see.”

Challenge:

As Christians, we should have a new vision of the world. Instead of being blind, look around for children of God in need of your help. Let someone in need find God in you.

Reference:

Whether he is a sinner or not, I don’t know. One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see! John 9:25 (NABRE)
