Posted on November 24, 2017

THOUGHT:

You have not lived until you have done something for someone who can never repay you.

Find an opportunity to help someone today who is unsuspecting, and more importantly, incapable of providing you anything in return. This may require a little extra effort, not to find the opportunity, but to find the strength to overcome your natural instincts to focus on your own needs.

Verse

But rather, love your enemies and do good to them, and lend expecting nothing back; then your reward will be great and you will be children of the Most High, for he himself is kind to the ungrateful and the wicked.

Change

Posted on November 20, 2017

THOUGHT:

What you do today is important because you are exchanging a day of your life for it.

Probably never thought of it that way, but how are you investing your time? Ask God for guidance on how to best serve Him and make the best of such a huge responsibility. What's the most important thing you can do today?

THOUGHT:

The only difference between a rut and a grave is their dimensions.

Challenge

We all are guilty of falling into patterns and routines in our life; however, it is important we do not allow our routines to run so deep that they dull our desire to enjoy the many spices of life. Make an extra effort today to try something different which will allow you the opportunity to recognize a closer presence of God in your daily life.

Verse

We must consider how to rouse one another to love and good works. We should not stay away from our assembly, as is the custom of some, but encourage one another, and this all the more as you see the day drawing near.

We often hear “to err is human” – a condition to which we can all relate. However, this human trait can be minimized by forming good habits. Start today by forming good, or better yet “God-like” habits that will keep you on the right path.
