Peace is not the absence of trouble, but the presence of God.

A hug is a great gift – one size fits all. It can be given for any occasion and it is easy to exchange.
In this Christmas Season, take a stand in the right direction by handing out hugs. Make it a habit with your family and friends. Also, make sure your church service greetings begin and end with a hug as a sign of Christ's love.

Let earth receive her king.
Given God's promise of eternal salvation, it is difficult to understand why not all Christians have fully received their King into their hearts and daily life. Pray for them and for yourself to recognize the gift of His presence during this season and throughout the year.
For, in this way, entry into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ will be richly provided for you.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place.
So often our relationships suffer or even fail because we do not take enough time and care to communicate the details and express how we really feel about something or someone. The same is true with your relationship with God. How effectively are you communicating with Him? Listen to yourself today and you be the judge.

Make a conscious decision to accept God's invitation to be extraordinary today. Be Christ-like by going out of your way for someone who needs a helping hand.
Observing the boldness of Peter and John and perceiving them to be uneducated, ordinary men, they were amazed, and they recognized them as the companions of Jesus.

The secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new.
Change is inevitable so embrace it, but do your best to guide it down a Christian path. Pray to God, about what you can do to build a better future for those around you. Most importantly, then go out and get it done.

As you face trials this week, resist feeling defeated. Have faith in His presence in your life, and in the end you'll “live happily ever after” with Christ.

Legends are not built on excuses. To my knowledge, no mourner ever stood at the side of a grave and spoke fondly of what a wonderful legacy of excuse making the deceased left behind.
When things go wrong in your life this week, don't look for a scapegoat. Look for a way to overcome your adversities in order that you may begin to build a legacy that others will fondly remember.
Children of God. And now, children, remain in him, so that when he appears we may have confidence and not be put to shame by him at his coming.
