Give a man a match, and he'll be warm for a minute, but set him on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.
Isn't it refreshing and inspiring to meet someone who you can tell is truly passionate about their life and what they are doing? You can almost feel the warmth of the genuine enthusiasm that radiates from them. Find a way to set yourself on fire by doing things you enjoy and the things that can make a difference in your life and those around you.
A joyful heart is the health of the body, but a depressed spirit dries up the bones.
Proverbs 17:22
Believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands. If it changes your life, let it.
While we don't always see it, God is often granting us a second chance to fix our mistakes. Take a minute to recognize those opportunities that have been presented to you. Have the courage to make the decisions that you know will please God and enjoy the outcome.
And whatever you do, in word or in deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Colossians 3:17
The body and soul are so closely related that feelings and illness can cross from one to the other.
Perform a quick spiritual health assessment. Take a minute and simply ask yourself if there is a lack of faith that is affecting your ambition or energy. Ask God for the spiritual strength to overcome your physical concerns.
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

Both faith and fear might sail into your harbor, but it's your harbor and you decide who gets to drop anchor.
Be the captain of your fate...Control your destiny. Fear has drowned many hopes and dreams. Knowing that God has faith in you, don't be intimidated and paralyzed by life's challenges and setbacks. Truly believe in God and it will be much easier for you to believe in yourself.
But without faith it is impossible to please him, for anyone who approaches God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

You most likely have heard many times throughout your life to "Look for the silver lining, to turn lemons into lemonade, to see the glass half-full, and to make the best of the situation." It makes sense that this message is told to us often and in many different ways because "What you see, is ultimately what you get!" How are you seeing things today?
