Priorities – Daily TAGline

Thought:

One day or day one, you decide.

Challenge:

In this busy world we often put things like reading the bible off to one or some day. Trouble is that day never seems to come. Decide that today is day one for spending more time with family, friends, God and the bible. Then make each day hereafter a new day one.

Reference:

There is a season for everything, and a time for every event under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to uproot what was planted. Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 (NABRE)

Encouragement – Daily TAGline

Thought:

When you can’t find the sunshine, be the sunshine.

Challenge:

Brighten someone’s day today. It can be as simple as a smile, a kind gesture or something more meaningful. The light you shine on others will also brighten your day.

In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:16 (NABRE)

Priorities – Daily TAGline

Thought:

Health is the greatest gift, contentment the greatest wealth, faithfulness the best relationship.

Most of the time, life’s greatest treasures are the simple things we overlook or take for granted. Slow down today and ask God to help you recognize what matters most in your life.

Gratitude – Daily TAGline

Happiness isn’t about getting what you want all the time. It’s about loving what you have and being grateful for it.

Challenge:

Live every day in an attitude of gratitude. If you look through the proper lens, you will realize how much you have to be grateful for each day. Take a moment now to give God thanks for your many blessings.

Service – Daily TAGline

Thought:

If opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door.

Challenge:

Don’t just sit around waiting for good things to happen, be proactive and find opportunities to make them happen to help others. Whether that be holding the door for someone with their hands full or donating to a soup kitchen running low on supplies it all matters and makes for a better world. God gave you the ability to seek, so use that ability and build doors in His name.

Reference:

So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith. Galatians 6:10 (NABRE)

Faith – Daily TAGline

Thought:

Life without God is like an unsharpened pencil, no point.

Challenge:

The point is – the only way to eternal life is through Jesus. Strengthen your faith in everything you do and pencil in time for God each and every day.

Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually! 1 Corinthians 16:11 (NABRE)

Goals – Daily TAGline

Thought:

You are never to old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.

Challenge:

Never be satisfied, never be complacent, never stop improving yourself. Set new goals and dream new dreams daily. God didn’t intend for us to waste our precious time on earth. Show Him you understand by always continuing to expand on His plan for you.

Gratitude – Daily TAGline

Thought:

Begin each day with a grateful heart.

Challenge:

As you start each day, acknowledge and be grateful that God has blessed you with so much. Take a second to start counting some of your blessings. If you really think about it, you’ll run out of time before you run out of blessings.
