If you have time to worry, you have time to pray.

Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Practice the pause. Pause when you're in doubt, angry, tired and stressed. And when you pause, pray.

Try pausing before you act upon things today. In today's connected social world, once something is said or written it stays with you and others forever. So pause, pray, and only when you are fully ready, respond. And remember, if you can't think of anything good to say - pray.

And everyone who listens to these words of mine but does not act on them will be like a fool who built his house on sand. The rain fell, the floods came, and the winds blew and buffeted the house. And it collapsed and was completely ruined.”
