Attitude – Daily TAGline

Thought:

Ruminating about the past is like trying to drive backward to undo a car accident.

Challenge:

No matter how much you think about it, worry about it or regret it, you can’t change your past. Yet, there you go again thinking about the past as if you can rewrite it. Focus your time and attention to live fully in the present where you really can make a difference.

Reference:

Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13-14 (NABRE)

Evangelism – Daily TAGline

The only impossible journey is the one you never begin.

Empathy – Daily TAGline

Thought:

Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

Empathy comes from the heart not from the judgement of the mind. Truly empathize with those around you today by understanding their situation and letting your heart guide your tongue. Let God’s love flow through you to them.

Courage – Daily TAGline

Thought:

There are always 3 choices in life: give up, give in, or give it all you’ve got.

Challenge:

Starting today, “Give it all you’ve got to being a faithful Christian.” God gave you His most precious gift – Christ, who died on the cross for us. That was surely not giving up or giving in, but an example for all of us to give it our all while here on earth.

Reference:

For Christ died for sins once and for all, a good man on behalf of sinners, in order to lead you to God. He was put to death physically, but made alive spiritually. 1 Peter 3:18 (NABRE)

The past is your lesson. The present is your gift. The future is your motivation.

Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes. Including you.

Challenge:

In this day and age of constant communication, bombardment of information and always being connected, you can get in a real rut. This is not good physically or mentally. Starting today, take a few minutes and unplug from everything. Use the time to relax, recharge, meditate and listen to God. Refreshed? Restart.

Challenge:

We live in a world that is more dynamic than ever. You have so many choices, resources and options right at your fingertips. Yet, there you sit in your comfort zone of your daily routines. It takes courage and faith to take a risk to break out of your rut. With faith that God has a bigger and better plan just for you, take a risk and follow His lead today.

Have comfort today knowing that with true faith in God, you will receive the rewards of everlasting life. With that renewed peace, face today’s challenges with new vigor and perspective. Remember, He is only a prayer away.
