Thought:

To walk with God, we must first make it a practice to talk with God.

Challenge:

Most of us make it a practice to talk with God at least once during our day. If this is the case with you, consider adding another regular conversation with God at another time during your day. This will keep you walking closer with Him!

Reference:

Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. In all circumstances give thanks, for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.

Thought:

Don’t count the years; make the years count!

Challenge:

Life is God’s gift to you. Live it to the fullest. It is what He wants for you. Take a moment and reflect on your life. Start today to make sure you’re living, not just processing days.

No one has ever seen God. Yet, if we love one another, God remains in us, and his love is brought to perfection in us. This is how we know that we remain in him and he in us, that he has given us of his Spirit.

Thought:

Swallowing angry words is much better than eating them.

Challenge:

Think before you speak. If you find yourself angry with someone today, calm yourself before you express yourself.

Attitude – Daily TAGline

Thought:

The happiness of your life depends on the quality of your thoughts.

Challenge:

Each day, you are in complete control of your thoughts. Ask God for His help in developing a positive and optimistic attitude. You cannot always control life’s obstacles, but you can control your response.

Reference:

Consideration for the Weak Conscience. Then let us no longer judge one another, but rather resolve never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother.

Thought:

Prayer is not a substitute for action; it is an action for which there is no substitute.

Challenge:

As you ask God for His blessings in your daily prayer, know that He may need you to take action in order for those blessings to be fulfilled. As you pray today, listen to God. What action is he asking you to take?

Thought:

Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced.

Challenge:

Don’t procrastinate. The longer items stays on your "to-do" list, the longer they become deterrents to your peace of mind and happiness. Ask God for the wisdom and strength to complete these tasks and get on with the joy of life.

Persistance – Daily TAGline

Thought:

When times are trying, don’t stop trying.

Challenge:

Never give up! God gave you the talents and strength to accomplish His purpose in your life. We all fall short on occasion. What’s important is that we keep trying and trusting in Him.

Let us not grow tired of doing good, for in due time we shall reap our harvest, if we do not give up.

Thought:

The Bread of Life never gets stale.

Challenge:

No matter how often you read it, the Bible always offers a fresh message. Today, Read and Reflect. Read the story of the birth of Jesus and Reflect on the hope that is found only in Him.

Wisdom – Daily TAGline

Thought:

When you see a man doing good things, try to emulate his example, and when you see a man doing bad things, search yourself for his faults.

Challenge:

It’s never too late to learn from those around you. Emulate at least one person’s good habits or deeds each day. Also, be on the alert when you see someone on the wrong path so that you can avoid following in their footsteps.

In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so that those who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about us. Titus 2:7 (NABRE)
