Hope

Posted on December 31, 2020

THOUGHT:

Hope is like the sun, which, as we journey toward it, casts the shadow of our burdens behind us.

Challenge

As the world reflects on the joys and sorrows of the past year, and looks forward to the hope that lies ahead in a new year, you are invited to celebrate New Year's Day like a Christian. Rejoice this day (and everyday) in the hope that Christ promises, knowing that your past is wiped away and the opportunities that lie ahead are eternal. Have a Happy and Blessed New Year – the TAGteam.

Verse

Let us hold unwaveringly to our confession that gives us hope, for he who made the promise is trustworthy.

THOUGHT:

When you pray for others, God listens to you and blesses them, and sometimes, when you are safe and happy, remember that someone has prayed for you.

Challenge

Thank God for all those who have prayed for you. You don't need to know who they are, just that they are a blessing from Him and His love for you.

Verse

As you help us with prayer, so that thanks may be given by many on our behalf for the gift granted us through the prayers of many.

The world needs a "stable" influence.

Challenge

In all the craziness and unrest of 2020, take time to reflect on the calm, simple and humble surroundings of the birthplace of Jesus. Allow this mental image to help you focus on what really matters during this special season and provide you with "stability" throughout the year. Merry Christmas from the TAGTeam!

And the Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us, and we saw his glory, the glory as of the Father's only Son, full of grace and truth.

Challenge

Stop wasting time worrying and start focusing on things that will provide you peace of mind; praying is a good place to start this process.

God and Money. No one can serve two masters. He will either hate one and love the other, or be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. Dependence on God.
