THOUGHT:

When you judge another, you do not define them, you define yourself.

Challenge

Leave the judging to God. Let your Christian actions in service to God define who you are.

Character

THOUGHT:

Character may be manifested in the great moments, but it is made in the small ones.

Challenge

How was your character yesterday? Take a minute to think of the little things you could have done better. Now go out with that newfound awareness and focus on the significance of the small moments that will define your character.

A Tree and Its Fruits.Either declare the tree good and its fruit is good, or declare the tree rotten and its fruit is rotten, for a tree is known by its fruit.

Empathy

THOUGHT:

Search others for their virtue and yourself for your vices; integrity is the essence of everything successful.

Challenge

Live with integrity and humility, acknowledging your vices. Emulate the virtues you witness in those around you.

Bearing with one another and forgiving one another, if one has a grievance against another; as the Lord has forgiven you, so must you also do. And over all these put on love, that is, the bond of perfection. And let the peace of Christ control your hearts, the peace into which you were also called in one body. And be thankful.

THOUGHT:

Belief is the strength of faith. The more you believe, the greater your faith will grow.

Challenge

Plant seeds of faith through daily prayer. Nourish and grow this faith with the results of your Christian acts of kindness. You will find the fruits of your harvest will be easy to believe.

So, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in him, rooted in him and built upon him and established in the faith as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.

Empathy

THOUGHT:

Don't compare yourself to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.

Challenge

Try to do a better job of understanding others instead of immediately passing judgment. Leave the judging part up to God.

Look at what confronts you. Whoever is confident of belonging to Christ should consider that as he belongs to Christ, so do we.

Stewardship

THOUGHT:

Life is a gift and it offers us the privilege, opportunity and responsibility to give something back by becoming more.

Challenge

God calls us to be stewards of His resources. Give generously of your personal gifts, confident that the more you give the more you will receive in return.

Verse

Give and gifts will be given to you; a good measure, packed together, shaken down, and overflowing, will be poured into your lap. For the measure with which you measure will in return be measured out to you.

The world does not require so much to be informed as to be reminded.

Challenge

The world knows of the greatness of God but we often need to be reminded. Start today and every day with the recognition of God's greatness. Involve God in all your decisions.

Anyone can hold the helm when the sea is calm.

Challenge

Make sure in challenging times like these that you are sharing your God given blessings with those less fortunate. There is no better time than now to give of yourself.

Security depends not so much on how much you have, as on how much you can do without.

Challenge

In our modern world, it is easy to confuse wants and needs. Commit to sacrificing a common comfort, for no reason except to please the Lord.

Your life can be changed in a matter of seconds by people who don't even know you.

Challenge

And you can change theirs. Go out and change someone's life for the better by helping, encouraging, or praising them. Pray that they do the same for another.

The greater a man is in power above others, the more he ought to excel them in virtue.

Challenge

Don't be a Sunday Christian. Take your faith with you into the world and make sure you treat those over whom you have influence with kindness, empathy, and praise. It is your daily Christian duty.

The mind has great power; what you think, you become.

Challenge

Think About God, and become more like Him. Think how much better the world would be if everyone embraced this challenge.

If you want to make good use of your time, you have to know what's most important and then give it all you've got.

Challenge

Make sure God is the focus of your life. Make good use of your time by giving Him all you've got.

Shine your window and polish your attitude through prayer and reading the Bible. You will see God's plan for you with more clarity.

Think of giving not as a duty, but as a privilege.

Challenge

Take a moment to appreciate the many blessings God has provided you. Acknowledge what a priviledge it is for you to share those blessings with others less fortunate.
