THOUGHT:

Blessed are the merciful. Mercy is what He desires.

Challenge

Jesus said several times in the Gospel that He desires mercy not sacrifice – that He had come to call the sinners, not the righteous. Today, recognize that you are a sinner, ask for His mercy, and then extend mercy to someone in need. Do this and you will be blessed.

Verse

Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.
