Love

THOUGHT:

Home is where our heart is - where our feet may leave, but our hearts never part.

Challenge

When you need a pick-me-up, remember that God is always at home in your heart and He will be there when you most need Him. You don’t have to be home for Him to be home in you.

Verse

Psalm 91 Security Under God’s Protection I - You who dwell in the shelter of the Most High, who abide in the shade of the Almighty, Say to the LORD, “My refuge and fortress, my God in whom I trust.”

THOUGHT:

Are you wrinkled with burden? Come to church for a face-lift.

Challenge

Take time today over lunch and visit a church. Sit in a pew, soak in the peace and beauty before you and thank God for his grace. Finally, notice the peace you gained from those few minutes alone with God.

Verse

Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Attitude

Posted on August 27, 2021

THOUGHT:

Long-term success has more to do with being resilient than always making the right decisions.

Challenge

Focus your energy on overcoming your adversities and obstacles instead of spinning around in fear of making the wrong decision. If you listen, God will always point you in the right direction.

Verse

Temptation. Blessed is the man who perseveres in temptation, for when he has been proved he will receive the crown of life that he promised to those who love him. No one experiencing temptation should say, “I am being tempted by God”; for God is not subject to temptation to evil, and he himself tempts no one. Rather, each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. Then desire conceives and brings forth sin, and when sin reaches maturity it gives birth to death.
