The more you worship, the less you worry.

Challenge

THOUGHT:

Challenge

Feeling down? Seek God's love by reflecting on the phrase "God is Love" to yourself for a few quiet moments and feel the glow that thought provides.

Verse

We have come to know and to believe in the love God has for us. God is love, and whoever remains in love remains in God and God in him.

Love

Posted on September 28, 2021

THOUGHT:

What does love look like? It has the hands to help others, feet to serve the poor and needy, eyes to see misery and want, and ears to hear the sighs and sorrows of men. That is what love looks like.

Challenge

What does your love look like? Do God's work here on earth by loving and helping your fellow man. That is the love God expects from all of us. If you do this one simple thing others will see God's love in everything you do.

Verse

Yet I live, no longer I, but Christ lives in me; insofar as I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God who has loved me and given himself up for me.

THOUGHT:

It is not the nature of love to force a relationship, but it is the nature of love to open the way.

Challenge

God does not force a relationship with Him upon us, but His love leaves the door wide open. Walk through the door.

Verse

He said in reply, “You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your being, with all your strength, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.”

THOUGHT:

The devil loves “curing” a small fault by giving you a great one. – C. S. Lewis

When you pray today, open your heart to God. Don't be anxious about your words. He knows your sorrows and pains, wishes and dreams. Have faith and He will provide what you need, when you need it.

Verse

The Degree to which I am blessed staggers me... the degree to which I take that for granted shames me.

Having faith does not give us a license to make unwise choices and expect God to save us from harm.

God desires you to act in a Christian manner while here on Earth; if you don't, it may be to your own peril. Think about God before you act and let Christ’s example lead the way and you’ll make better choices.
