Blessings

Posted on June 30, 2022

THOUGHT:

Remember that the happiest people are not those getting more, but those giving more.

Challenge

Take a minute right now to consider all the blessings the Lord has given you. First, Thank God. Then, find ways to share your blessings with those less fortunate. Give to a local charity or food bank. Give not expecting anything in return, but rather because it is what God calls us all as Christians to do.

Verse

In every way I have shown you that by hard work of that sort we must help the weak, and keep in mind the words of the Lord Jesus who himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”

Love

THOUGHT:

If you judge people, you have no time to love them.

Challenge

It is easy to judge others without fully understanding their situation. Look for the good in everyone you encounter today. Look past their outer appearance, and truly look for the good inside. Look at them like the creatures of God that they are. Your encounter will be much more rewarding for both of you.

Verse

But the LORD said to Samuel: Do not judge from his appearance or from his lofty stature, because I have rejected him. God does not see as a mortal, who sees the appearance. The LORD looks into the heart.

Positive Attitude

Posted on June 23, 2022

Verse

You are the light of the world. A city set on a mountain cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and then put it under a bushel basket; it is set on a lampstand, where it gives light to all in the house.

Service

Posted on June 2, 2022

In God’s eyes, the greatest heroes of faith are not those who achieve prosperity, success, and power in this life, but those who treat life as a temporary assignment and serve faithfully, expecting their promised reward in eternity.
