A smile is an inexpensive way to change your looks.

Challenge

Instead of spending money on more fashionable clothes, expensive tennis shoes or changing your hairstyle, spend more time today with a smile on your face. Smile. It's a universal language and will make others (and you) ultimately feel better about themselves. This is a very simple way to please God today.

If we let our worries overpower our faith in God, we do not give the Word of God the opportunity to guide us.

Challenge

My chief concern is to try to be a humble, earnest Christian.

Challenge

As you spend time with God today, ask Him to make you more humble. Then go out and work toward that goal by listening and praising others. Refrain from talking about you, instead, listen to them and reflect on what they are saying. How you can help others should be forefront in your mind.

I can't give you a sure-fire formula for success, but I can give you a formula for failure: try to please everybody all the time.

Challenge

Trying to please those around you is not a bad thing, as long as your actions are also pleasing to God. Seek first to please God. That is your best formula for eternal success.

Give Satan an inch and he will become your ruler.

Challenge

Don't be deceived by Satan's earthly temptations. Little wrongs can quickly compound and eventually devour your soul. While Jesus was human he was able to resist a direct attack from Satan, and with His help, you can also resist Satan's empty promises.

God has called each of His children to a different path, distinctly designed for each one.

Challenge

Do not let anyone convince you that their path is the only right way. Likewise, be careful not to extol your path as superior to another's way. Walk humbly where ever God leads you.
