Every choice you make either expands or contracts the area in which you can either make or implement future decisions. When you make a choice, you bind yourself to the consequences of that decision.

Our lives no doubt are just an accumulation of our choices. Ask God for the strength to form good decision-making habits so your future will abound with a wide range of good outcomes and opportunities.

Spending time alone with God can be a difficult discipline because it goes against the activity addiction of this age.

Challenge

How much time do you think you spent on your mobile device yesterday? How many times did you automatically pick it up when you had a momentary lull in activity? Next time you have a spare moment, leave your device alone and spend some alone time with God. Pray, read a Bible verse or just sit in silence thanking God for all the blessings in your life.

When little things don't go as you had hoped, look to God and say "Oh well."

There is no question that we are ALL guilty of doing things that we know do not make sense or are just plain wrong. Fortunately, God is a forgiving God. Determination

We fail, when we fail to try.

Challenge

It has been said that "You cannot plow a field by thinking it over in your mind." Often times we fail because we are either afraid of failure or we simply lack the will and motivation to take the actions necessary to reach our goals. Ask God for the courage and motivation to "take action" today. Do it again tomorrow.
