Goals

Posted on March 31, 2023

THOUGHT:

Celebrate what you've accomplished, but raise the bar a little higher each time you succeed.

Challenge

Don't be satisfied with "good enough" especially in helping others. Improve upon everything you do each day by continuing to challenge yourself to do more with your God given talent and blessings.

Verse

I have the strength for everything through him who empowers me.

Gratitude

Posted on March 30, 2023

THOUGHT:

Treasure this day and treasure yourself. Truly, neither will ever happen again.

Challenge

Take a moment and realize that once today is gone, you will NEVER have an opportunity to relive it. Take another moment and recognize the fact that God made you in His likeness, and there is only one of you in the entire world. Slow down today and find a way to make a unique memory worth remembering.

Verse

So, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in him, rooted in him and built upon him and established in the faith as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.

Joy

Posted on March 29, 2023

THOUGHT:

Joy is what happens when you allow yourself to recognize how blessed you are.

Challenge

When is the last time you acknowledged your many blessings? Take time to really focus on the positive aspects of your life. Thank God for your many blessings, and share your joy with others.

Verse

You will show me the path to life, abounding joy in your presence, the delights at your right hand forever.

Determination

Posted on March 28, 2023

THOUGHT:

Keep your feet on the ground and keep reaching for the stars.

Challenge

While you live today's life here on the earth, remember that your ultimate life is with our creator in heaven. Make each day count by walking in the footsteps of Jesus on your ultimate path to the stars and Christ.

Verse

But those with insight shall shine brightly like the splendor of the firmament, And those who lead the many to justice shall be like the stars forever.

Compassion

Posted on March 27, 2023

THOUGHT:

We change the world when we simply meet the needs of another.

Challenge

Focus daily on meeting the needs of others especially those who are downtrodden. Make it a priority. Each night pray for those you helped that day and ask God to watch over and guide them.

Verse

In every way I have shown you that by hard work of that sort we must help the weak, and keep in mind the words of the Lord Jesus who himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”

God's Guidance

Posted on March 24, 2023

THOUGHT:

My concern is not whether God is on our side; my greatest concern is to be on God's side, for God is always right. - Abraham Lincoln

Challenge

Take comfort knowing that in good times and bad, God is on your side. Ask God for the strength and wisdom you need in every situation. Align your actions to welcome His presence in everything you do.

Verse

Do not fear: I am with you; do not be anxious: I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.

Determination

Posted on March 23, 2023

THOUGHT:

Anything is possible if you are willing to commit yourself to it, mind and body, and do the work.

Challenge

Have you considered committing yourself to a closer personal relationship with God? Do the work - study His Word and put it into practice. Seek Him each and every day. A personal relationship with God is not only possible, but well worth the effort.

Verse

Jesus said to him, “‘If you can!’ Everything is possible to one who has faith.”

Wisdom

Posted on March 22, 2023

THOUGHT:

By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest.

Challenge

Make it your goal to always take the time for reflection and analysis before you act. Reflection allows you the perspective to imitate the right things and to avoid experiences that may lead you away from His plan for you.

Verse

The Benefits of Finding Wisdom - Happy the one who finds wisdom, the one who gains understanding!

God's Guidance

Posted on March 21, 2023

THOUGHT:

The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time.

Challenge

It’s okay to look at the past and the future. Just don’t stare. It is easy to spend too much time thinking (worrying) about what is going to happen in your future. Spend more time Thinking About God each day and He will help you make better decisions one day at a time.

Verse

Many are the plans of the human heart, but it is the decision of the LORD that endures.

God's Guidance

Posted on March 20, 2023

THOUGHT:

Lack of direction, not lack of time, is our problem. We all have twenty-four-hour days.

Challenge

God has promised to instruct and teach us in the ways we should go. Turn to him daily in prayer. With His guidance, make the most of your time here on earth as you prepare for eternal life with Him.

Verse

III - I will instruct you and show you the way you should walk, give you counsel with my eye upon you.

Blessings

Posted on March 17, 2023

THOUGHT:

Gladly accept the gifts of the present hour.

Challenge

When the thoughts and pressures of daily life pull you from the moment, you forfeit the happiness you could be living in right now. Focus on living in the moment more each day. Thank God for the good things that are happening to you right now.

Verse

From his fullness we have all received, grace in place of grace,

Posted on March 16, 2023

THOUGHT:

Those who bring sunshine to the lives of others cannot keep it from themselves.

Brighten someone's day today with a kind word, a smile or a friendly gesture. Experience the joy that comes with doing something good for someone else.

Verse

Just so, your light must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly Father.

Positive Attitude

Posted on March 15, 2023

THOUGHT:

Cynicism is often a hedge against vulnerability.

Challenge

We all have defense mechanisms we use to shield and hide our weaknesses – some are more subtle than others. Ask God for confidence to inspire your positive spirit to allow you to view life with a more honest, optimistic and open-minded eye.

Verse

No foul language should come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for needed edification, that it may impart grace to those who hear.

Faith

Posted on March 13, 2023

THOUGHT:

What do the undead, an inexperienced sailor, a wanderer, a murderer, and a prostitute have in common with YOU?!?

Challenge

Perhaps we have more in common with some of the unsavory characters in the Bible than we'd care to admit. But, hopefully, there is one trait they can teach us about that we need today more than ever before ~~~ FAITH!!! God doesn't pick the sinless to spread His message (with the exception of His Son). Learn from your sins, and have faith that Christ will guide you in the future if you just listen to him.

Verse

If we acknowledge our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive our sins and cleanse us from every wrongdoing.

Peace

Posted on March 10, 2023

THOUGHT:

Quietness is the classroom where you learn to hear God's voice.

Challenge

We all need a quiet place in order to still their minds to make room to hear from God. As you advance in this discipline, you will learn to carry this stillness with you even as you step into the mainstream of your days. Take the first lesson today. Find a quiet place, clear your mind and ask God to speak to you.

Verse

When you call me, and come and pray to me, I will listen to you. When you look for me, you will find me. Yes, when you seek me with all your heart,

God's Guidance

Posted on March 9, 2023

THOUGHT:

Even Christian voices can lead you astray: "Do this!" "Don't do that!" "Pray this way!" "Don't pray that way!"

Challenge

If you listen to all those voices, you will quickly become confused. Be content to be a simple sheep and listen for the voice of your Shepherd. Read through one of the Gospels and seek to understand how, what and who Jesus is telling you to be.

Verse

My sheep hear my voice; I know them, and they follow me.

THOUGHT:

Whether you realize it or not, you are writing the story of your life.

Challenge

As you reflect on the events of your life, are you happy with how the story is unfolding? Do you need to change the plot to ensure there is a happy ending (hint: eternal life)?

Verse

Do not conform yourselves to this age but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and pleasing and perfect.

God's Guidance

Posted on March 7, 2023

THOUGHT:

Live first and foremost in God's presence. Gradually you will become more aware of how he enriches the interactions with the people and places around you.

Challenge

A heightened awareness of God gives you the ability to love more selflessly and provide encouragement to those around you. Invite God to be present with you throughout your day. Let him enrich your thoughts and interactions.

Verse

May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to think in harmony with one another, in keeping with Christ Jesus, that with one accord you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God’s Fidelity and Mercy.

Trust

Posted on March 6, 2023

THOUGHT:

Focus on the path just ahead of you and on the One who never leaves your side.

Challenge

Be careful not to look too far ahead on the path God is sending you. If you do, you may miss the chance to hold the hand of the One who is walking right beside you. The path may be rocky at times, but He will be there to guide you through the rough patches. Say a prayer right now that you will have the wisdom to trust your Guide and constant Companion.

Verse

It is the LORD who goes before you; he will be with you and will never fail you or forsake you. So do not fear or be dismayed.”

Trust

Posted on March 3, 2023

THOUGHT:

The lessons God sends you may come wrapped in difficulties, but what He is teaching you will far outweigh the cost.

Challenge

If something in your life is making you anxious, go to God and discuss it with Him. Listen to His guidance, then take the opportunity to learn from life's challenges. Doing so will strengthen your faith in God.

Verse

With firm purpose you maintain peace; in peace, because of our trust in you.”

Courage

Posted on March 2, 2023

THOUGHT:

Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is a quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "I will try again tomorrow."

Challenge

Personal accountability and persistence are key ingredients to achieving success and happiness regardless of how you define it. Ask God for the quiet inner courage to keep striving to reach your goals.

Verse

Be strong and steadfast; have no fear or dread of them, for it is the LORD, your God, who marches with you; he will never fail you or forsake you.

Joy

Posted on March 1, 2023

THOUGHT:

Remember, God has created this day - it is not a chance occurrence.

Challenge

Because God created this day, you can count on the fact that He will be with you whether you sense Him or not. Start talking to Him about whatever is on your mind and things that concern you about your day. Rejoice in knowing that God understands you perfectly and that He knows exactly what you are experiencing.

Verse

This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice in it and be glad.
