Faith

THOUGHT:

Faith is not about everything turning out ok. Faith is about being ok no matter how things turn out.

Challenge

Take comfort knowing that God has a plan for you - His perfect plan for you. He promises to give you a future of hope. Put your faith in Him.

Change

THOUGHT:

Life has no remote. Get up and change it yourself.

Challenge

Are there things in your life that you know you need to change in order to have a closer relationship with God? What are you waiting for? Ask God and He will provide you the strength and courage to make the changes you know you need to make. Do it now.

Persistance

THOUGHT:

Patience and perseverance have a magical effect before which difficulties disappear and obstacles vanish. A little knowledge that acts is worth infinitely more than much knowledge that is idle.

Challenge

Ask God for the strength to keep the faith and never to stop rowing no matter how strong life’s currents are flowing against you. For most things in life, nothing stays the same; you are either moving ahead or falling behind.

Indeed someone may say, “You have faith and I have works.” Demonstrate your faith to me without works, and I will demonstrate my faith to you from my works.

Challenge

Often our greatest peace of mind happens when we lie exhausted next to the results of our best efforts. Ask God for the drive to seek more opportunities to do His work.

Stand for something, always have class and be humble.

Challenge

Wise advise for any God loving Christian. Practice these three things daily in everything you do. Most importantly, begin by showing others you stand for Christ in your words and actions.

Here is the test to find whether your mission on earth is finished: If you're alive, it isn't.

Challenge

God challenges each of us with a specific and significant plan here on earth. Now is not the time to sit back and coast. Ask God’s help to continue to reveal His plan for you.

Compassion

No matter how far you think you have moved from God, He is still there; waiting for you to acknowledge Him.

Challenge

Just as God is always there for us, we too should follow that example and be available for others. Make a concerted effort today to be available for those around you. Be attentive to the needs of others so you can keep your focus where it needs to be... helping others and serving God.

Challenge

No one likes to get into a hopeless place but it does happen once in a while. Know this - God will be there helping you through it. Carry the comfort of an every loving God throughout your day knowing He WILL be there when you need Him most.

Encouragement

THOUGHT:

Too often what we read and profess become part of our libraries and vocabularies instead of part of our lives.

Challenge

It is truly beneficial to pursue inspiration from books, podcasts, movies, music and even from today's TAGline. However, if you don't internalize it and allow it to influence your actions and your life, it is of little value. Make more of an effort today to allow the things that inspire you to be more than just a superficial mask. Digest it and let it inspire your actions in order that you may positively influence those around you.

Encouragement

A word of encouragement during a failure is worth more than an hour of praise after success.

Challenge

While it is easy to praise success, encouragement during or after failure is so much more powerful and meaningful. It's not easy finding the right words, but they will mean more than you know to the recipient. Your encouraging words WILL change their lives. How powerful is that?

God's Love

Forgiveness

THOUGHT:

When the Lord said "It is finished," He meant FINISHED!

Challenge

Each day, as you place your faith in Jesus as your Savior, rest assured that you are 100% forgiven of your sins. Trust that Jesus knew how to finish His work so that we have the opportunity for eternal life. Take time to thank him now for dying on the cross so you could live.

Hope

THOUGHT:

God uses broken things - It takes broken soil to create a crop, broken grain to make bread, broken grapes to make wine and a broken body to bring salvation.

Challenge

In obedience to God, Jesus allowed himself to be broken for the sake of our broken souls. The next time you break bread in remembrance of His sacrifice, close your eyes and imagine Jesus putting your broken life back together, then thank Him for this eternal gift.

His poverty was so great that He was born in another man’s house, and buried in another man’s tomb.

Challenge

The more you recognize that you are "poor in spirit" the more you will recognize that you need God. Admit your spiritual poverty and ask the Holy Spirit to strengthen you through God's grace, wisdom and power.

You can be powerful or pitiful, choose one because you can't be both.

Challenge

Since you can’t choose both, and you are covered by the glory of the cross – you must choose power! Let Christ’s power flow through you and wash away the pity.

THOUGHT:

The Bible was never intended to be a book for scholars only. From the very beginning it was intended to be everybody’s book.

Challenge

If you don't already, create a new routine to read a chapter from the world's best seller each day. Start with Matthew's gospel and read through the New Testament. There are 260 chapters so you can read the New Testament in less that a year!

For whatever was written previously was written for our instruction, that by endurance and by the encouragement of the scriptures we might have hope.
