How can I help?

Challenge

Four little words that can change the world. If each of us promised to ask that question at least once a day, and provided the needed help, think of all the goodness being added to the world. Start today asking at least one person, "How can I help?" Repeat daily and don't just stop at one.

Challenge

Don't compare yourself to others. Focus on yourself and make a conscious effort to become a little better each day through your actions and your words. Pray daily for the empowerment to become the best you can be.

Challenge

We all have the assurance that if we believe Jesus Christ is our Savior and died for our sins, then we will have eternal life at His side; but today we are here on earth. Make the best of your time today in everything you do. Enjoy life today and spend more time with your loved ones - you never know what tomorrow will bring... here on earth.

Challenge

Show others your compassion toward those in need. Join a local outreach programs and help others. Take a leadership role in this endeavor and spread your enthusiasm to others on the team. Show them the Holy Spirit is alive and well in you.

The literal meaning of "philanthropy" is "affection for mankind."

Challenge

"Affection for mankind" sounds a lot like "being a Christian." Make an ongoing commitment of philanthropy to those in need through word and deed. Don't stop there, discuss with and invite others to join you in your affection for mankind.

Learn a new habit. Say, "I trust you Jesus" in response to whatever happens to you today.

Challenge

Try it today. This simple practice will help you see Jesus in every situation and acknowledge His control over the universe. When you acknowledge He is always with you, fear loses its grip on you.

Challenge

You can have as much peace as you want if you make the right choices. As you make choices today, choose to trust God. You will never run out of things to worry about, but you can choose to trust God no matter what.

When anxiety attempts to wedge its way into your thoughts, remind yourself that God is in control. Rather than trying to maintain control over your life, abandon your will to God's. Though this may be frightening and difficult, the safest place to be is in God's hands.

Develop enough courage so that you can stand up for yourself and then stand up for somebody else.

Challenge

Ask God for the daily courage to avoid sin and temptation. See another being tempted? Let your God given courage enable you to find the courage to council them to turn from sin and follow Christ.

Battle Against Evil. Finally, draw your strength from the Lord and from his mighty power. Put on the armor of God so that you may be able to stand firm against the tactics of the devil.

God's Love

If we don’t feel grateful for what we already have, what makes us think we will be happy with more?

Challenge

Take a moment right now to acknowledge your many blessings. Make sure to include your relationship with God. A closer relationship with Him is the secret to true happiness. Seek more interaction with God. He is waiting for you.
